Pre-comp or scale on output or output lossless and scale are the only reliable methods I’ve found. Scaling within a comp with all the variables of plug-in, anchor points and position keyframe math has never worked on my IMAX project as I often have to scale down for output coming from a 5600 x 4200 master. Also, designing small and trying to scale up is equally a mess.
