Hi all. In case you
didn't know, Zaxwerks software has become very popular in sports
graphics due to how it can create multiple versions very easily.
If anyone is looking for work, here is a job posting from the
Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team. You'd be one of the guys who
puts together the "In-Game" experience for the home games as
well as advertising and promotional videos.

POSITION: Production
Coordinator, In-game Entertainment
REPORTS TO: Manager of
In-Game Entertainment
STATUS: Full-time,
Regular
SUMMARY:
This position is
responsible for the production of entertainment seen on the video
board and LED signage during Pittsburgh Pirates home games including
Q&A segments, highlights, headshots, music videos, bloopers and
corporate sponsor logos.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelors degree in
media, video productions, other related fields or equivalent
experience.
* Minimum 4 years
experience with Production Software such as: Final Cut Pro, Click
Effects, Photoshop, After Effects, Zaxwerks and
Daktronics.
* Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook,
PowerPoint).
DESIRED:
* Supervisory
experience
* Experience working for
a professional sports franchise.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Coordinate all
activities associated with the in-game programming on the video board,
including but not limited to: creating, designing, pre-production
activities, production and editing for each home
game.
* Create and produce the
Q&A segments, player and team highlights, visiting team head
shots, and music videos to be used on video board.
* Work closely with
corporate sponsors in the creation/design of graphics to accompany
their logos on the LED, Matrix & Video Boards.
* Responsible for
designing all videos used on the PNC Park LED
boards.
* Oversee the coordinate
game day staff in daily pregame activities including but not limited
to: building and loading team headshots, assisting sound engineer with
musical selections, building DEKO graphics and replay
effects.
* Create and produce new
music videos for each home game.
* Design the layout of
videos to be executed during home games.
* Produce and edit all
media elements for Pirates Caravan and Piratefest.
* Produce and edit
pregame elements, including but not limited to: starting lineup
videos, welcome videos, special tribute videos,
etc.
* Direct and produce
video shoots during Spring Training for In-Game
use.
* All other duties as
assigned by the Manager of In-Game Entertainment.
* Accommodate and make
applicable any video of audio requests made by corporate and social
groups involved with supplemental events.
