I've had an issue where the keyframes I'd set to fade audio levels in and out sounded perfect on a RAM preview but when rendered sounded very different.
Much better to edit your audio in another app, export and import into AE.
The AE audio tools aren't that reliable unfortunately.

That is, it tends to play and render out a little distorted and even the slight hiss becomes almost unbearable - even when I add noise reduction. If I take the same audio source file and play it back on he exact same system(set-up) it plays back just fine. Any one seen this ? Any remedies?
