BCC7 is the set I'd recommend to anybody who could only get one. They're incorporating more Trapcode-style plugs, in addition to the ones already in the set. And , there are a lot of other very useful plugs that are available from other vendors too, such as de-interlacers, upscalers, CC, realistic lens blurs, etc. Oh, and BCC8 has scopes, a la Test Gear, but appears to be more real-time. The upgrade price is about a third of what I paid for the suite (on sale, mind you), and that seems a bit steep, unless they're a lot faster or more useful or contain more cool plugs. Since I've already got Test Gear, the Trapcode suite, MB Frames, Optical Flares and KLF, some of the new plugs seem redundant. If anybody has any insight, I'd love to hear it. Jim C.
