That is correct. The explosion at the end of the clips before the titles is that render.

 

I’ve been studying Hubble images and the rough number of objects needed to match high res images is around 500,000,000 – yeah, it boggles the mind. The amazing thing is that Particular and AE does not barf at all.

 

So a number of these layers assembled together out of the various galactic parts and I have a zoomable project of a galaxy that I can compress – then explode with multiple Particular layers. Visually stunning but a render nightmare for sure.
