It's the last day of the year I can spend $$ to deplete the company bank account. I'd like to upgrade the old 8-core MacPro 2.1 to something more contemporary with a modern graphics card (not that my current mac still isn't great -- it is). Question is should I go for a current MacPro, or keep the cash (and pay taxes) and wait to see what the near future brings regarding Apple's pro line.

Advice? Opinions? Predictions?
