Hi,
I know It's not an AVID topic but maybe you know something good solution.
I am a switcher (as I think many of you) from FCP. I work many places so I have to use Premier and AVID too (later). But I have a problem I would like to set up a Multigroup (Multicam) sequence for a 3 camera recorded event. But this point It looks horrible.
To lay out the clips (form P2 camera) is easy with AutoSequence. This is a great function I have always missed It from FCP.
But after this step It's not for human what is comming.

Just in few words:
-Set up AUX TC for the cameras (why can's the AVID use the normal TC, the cameras are synced)
-Add edits at every camera start/stop point. (WTF?? for a 3 hour long High School party It's plenty work)
-Create subclips from your sequence (why? I have all the original clips with timecode why I have to make Subclips)
-Multigroup by AUX TC
So this is my problem. Do you have any better idea to solve It?
Thanks
Gary
