Even a cheap gaming card on one machine renders in 3 hours versus 8 hours SW-only takes in Premiere (about the same results as a new iMac). Add in options for Red Giant, Sapphire, Speedgrade and other acceleration withNVIDIA if I get my licenses in order. The Windows UI is a big letdown though, even if you get a comparable screen.
