I really don't have too much of a problem with them on either my portable workstation or my main box at home. Plus with the right backup and hardware arrangement you can nearly nullify any problems you could have if you run into a virus. Windows 7 as a base operating system isn't as spot on as OS X, I'll be the first to admit it but there are applications out there that make it behave very similarly for those who really want that. Now if Apple released their OS so that it could be used on non-apple computers, that would be lovely.
