Not that I’ve found – I checked again my usual sources but looks like USB 2/Firewire 800 is it.
You could use a PCI slot riser card although I would try to find one with reviews and a good return policy as copying from one card to another especially USB 3 speeds might saturate bandwidth.

A film is – or should be – more like music than like fiction. It should be a progression of moods and feelings. The theme, what’s behind the emotion, the meaning, all that comes later.

Subject: [AE] [OT] Does a firewire 800 / USB 3.0 PCI card exist?
Just got a USB 3.0 2TB drive for xmas, but I don't have a USB 3.0 interface. I only have one PCI slot that is already filled with a firewire 800 card. I can't lose the FW800 connectivity just for one drive, so does anyone know of a combo USB 3.0 / FW 800 pci card? Or have any ideas about adding USB 3.0 connectivity? I mean the drive can use regular usb2 but that seems to defeat the purpose of such a huge external. I may just have to wait until I get a new system...
