I thought about 3d stroke, but then i realized i wouldn't be able to get the semi-transparent effect, where the far edges are visible through the blue faces of the cube.. Same for Plexus -- the limitation of these plu-ins being that they don't do overlapping/depth/intersection with other layers. I think for the time-being i'll have to stick with simple planes.
