I have tried 2 methods to fill the box with text. 1) Hard code the text by typing/copy/pasting over and over until the =20 box is full 2) Using the #include expression I found on Harry Frank's tutorial Both methods work to a point. About 3/4 full the text box disappears =20 and all the contents of it too. Only the anchor point is visible on =20 the stage. Double clicking the timeline layer will reveal the =20 bounding box again but it still appears empty, as if populated by =20 phantom characters. They are there, you just cannot see them. The same situation is brought about by increasing the font size. With =20= the text box filled to 3/4 capacity I can increase the font size 1px =20 at a time until it reaches a limit where it will again disappear. =20 It's not an overflow problem as the box is nowhere near being full to =20= overflow. I booted up an old version of AE7 and was able to fill a 1000x1000 =20 text box, even beyond overflow (the overflowed characters just =20 disappeared but the rest of the text remained visible). Is this a bug in CS3, a limitation of the text tool? OR could my =20 instal have gotten borked. Or is there one of those mythical hidden =20 settings we all hope flipping a switch on that will cure our ills? I do hope I dont have to reinstall, not right now anyway. But I need =20 some help as I'm stuck. Here is a link to download the TXT file and the AE file I'm using. =20 *Bare in mind the expression calls the absolute path to the TXT file =20 so it wont work with your set up. http://www.influxx.com/public/zeros.txt.zip thanks as always Adam Mercado Influxx Media Production Fullerton, CA Moving Images.
