There's a small team = of people doing various tests now and one thing they're looking at is whe= ther to shoot and comp with parallel cameras or converging cameras. I've worked in stereo 3D a little and have only used parallel cameras - t= he 3D book by Bernard Mendiburu suggests that parallel cameras should alw= ays be used when comping live action with CGI. So for the stereo 3D gurus out there - is there any reason or benefit to = using converging cameras? Or ar e we wasting our time even considering t= he option? -Chris
