Many companies, including us, offer cross platform serial numbers. So at least you don't need to buy the software all over again. If you think it's likely you'll switch to Windows at some point in the near future, you may want to download the trial Windows versions of the software you own and tuck them away. In some cases it's difficult to download old versions of software, so if you need to switch you can do so without being forced to upgrade or trying to find the right person at a given company that will send you an old link. This was a building year, so we might be ok for a couple of years with a bunch of what we have (but not all of it), but if Apple drops the pro market altogether it's going to be a terrifying, wildly expensive time. Forget cool new Thunderbolt toys this year - we're sticking with what we have on the computer and peripheral side and staying extra cautious with our cash in the event we need to buy $11K Z800s.
