I tried it out when it was a;n online service only.  It worked =
incredibly well, and you get the model textured and ready to go.
That said, It won't work perfectly with lots of Hair, and your human =
subject must remain completely still while being photographed from =
different angles.
Most Human faces can be achieved easily with a handful of photographs, =
It is certainly worth a try since it is FREE.  If ou have no access to a =
windows machine...
Certainly you know a geek with windows somewhere....Or at least someone =
with Boot Camp installed?
Parallels works fine with this, it is only an interface for uploading =
your pictures after all.
It used to be an online service during a previous Beta iteration, but I =
guess they dropped that.
I bet they come out with an IOS app soon enough.

speaking of IOS apps, have you tried Trimensional?  it will make a face, =
a bit rough on the  edges, on your iPhone!
