I've used Default Folder for years because it's = such a great way to save on navigation time, especially when you are = working on multiple projects. You are able to save favorite folders and = go directly to them for imports and exports without navigating. I feel = this saves me an hour every day of a work day, especially because we use = a huge san with many users and many projects online, so navigation can = get ugly.=20 For the past year or so I have not been able to get Default Folder to = work when importing Automatic Duck xml files from FCP. The icons and = windows for Default Folder simply disappear during an import which takes = me back to traditional navigation. I know there are a few other people = using Default Folder from previous discussions so I wouldn't mind if = someone else could confirm this problem.
