The original Matrox MXO, and I believe some of their current line of converters are claimed to be calibrate-able to broadcast specs by virtue of the software that controls their hardware. I used the original MXO with a 23" ACD, and while it appeared to match my calibrated Sony PVM CRT by eyeball comparisons, the protracted delays caused by switching apps was a nuisance. Matrox may have addressed this by now. I dumped this combo a few years ago in favor of the HP and a Kona card.
