Correct, Deep Color is available via DisplayPort 1.1 also, and any true =
progressive frame rate.

As for HP QC you'll read about in the above thread, my first monitor had =
a bad switch in it.  I returned it to the VAR for a new replacement.  =
I've been using it a couple of years now, and I only noticed one dead =
pixel yesterday, as it happens.  Otherwise, it's been a star performer.
