They can easily have hundreds of layers and adjustments and I have to condense them down into manageable layers that I can then animate in AE using multi-plane techniques. One thing that I=B9m having particular trouble with is an adjustment they often use that does NOT translate into AE. They have a curves adjustment with it=B9s own mask=8Bsimple enough. They will then put that into a Group folder and it has a separate and different mask using a =B3pass thru=B2 transfer mode. The pass-thru just does not translate into AE. I need = a way to remove the curves adjustment from the group, but have it retain the same effect it had when it was in the group. Basically, combining the two masks. But with curves and groups, of course, there=B9s no such thing as =B3apply layer mask=B2. Has anyone dealt with this before?
