I think you forgot to add the OS, Teddy. ;) But seriously, I don't personally see working on anything less than a dual processor with at least eight cores, with 12 preferred. Quad core, for me, would be a pretty big hit on productivity - especially with six systems. The Mac Pro desperately needs a refresh, though. Unlike others here, I tend to keep ours for 4-6 years, though, being on a cycle of replacing one system per year. Normally, I put in a requisition for one system replacement each January. This year, I'm holding off.
