Hey all!

So - on the film we're working on we'= re constantly updating comps - and importing aeps inside aeps that have aeps= imported. It gets messy super fast.

We alway= s grab the elements we want - reduce project and consolidate. Problem is ae s= eems to delete the original dupes and leave the imported versions - I'd rath= er have it the other way around.

What is the logic AE uses to consolidate and pick which o= f the dupes to delete?

A few of us have been search= ing but even Chris and Trish don't mention the logic here http://provideocoalition.com/index.php/cmg_keyfr= ames/story/cmg_hidden_gems_chapter_43_advanced_rendering

They probably do in their book! But I left it at home in= Vegas and I'm in LA now.

Anybody know? =

Thanks!
