"collect files" copies all the = footage to one = folder.

I'm = often in a situation like jayse, where projects are imported into other = projects and duplicates build up...

Afaik, = 'consolidate footage' copies all used footage to one folder. I don't = want to move footage files, just make the project less = cluttered.

Anyone know if something like that = exists?

I make a folder where I put all the Comps I want to keep.  Often, = I'll pre-render and use the pre-renders, but I want to hang onto the = Comp I used for the Pre-Render.

So at the top of my project window, I have a folder for "keepers." = Inside that are my master Comps folder, and my pre-comps folder. =  Then, when I reduce, I select the top level folder, and = proceed.

I put some spaces at the beginning of my "keeper folder," so it'll = always go to the top of the Project Panel when I set it to sort in = ascending order.
