I never really worry about which one it keeps, because I move them all to a central Sources folder after consolidation. But there must be a logic! Maybe Todd knows.

Tip If you are finding that the files are NOT consolidating, it means that the Interpret Footage is set differently for each one. They need to match to consolidate.
