We shipped a version of After Effects (CS3) a year later that was for the= PowerPC architecture. So, we created new software to work on the platform = for at least as long as Apple stuck with the platform. Then, in 2008, we shipped a big bug-fix update for CS3, continuing to make = fixes for this abandoned architecture. I recall one of the senior engineers= saying specifically that this update was crucial because we needed to make= sure that the PowerPC users had a stable application in CS3, because we wo= uldn't be able to make a new version for this now-obsolete architecture. We can't create new versions of After Effects for every previous architectu= re of personal computer. But we did (and do) try to make sure that if you h= ave an older computer, you'll be able to keep using your software on it for= as long as possible. If you have complaints about Flash Player, I can't help you there. This is = an After Effects list, and I only know the inner workings of the After Effe= cts and Premiere Pro teams and products.
