It isn't feature work, but if it helps I just finished and rendered out a 2.5 hour 1920 x 1080 project in Premiere CS 5.5 without even a single crash.  Quick and stable.

Yes. The BBC, Hearst, Turner, and several other organizations have moved to using it on some or all of their projects.
