I just got a drive from my client with footage on it = for a big AE project. I gave him an external Maxtor, which I = allowed him to reformat. He says he formatted it NTFS, and put a = bunch of footage on it, from a Windows system.

When I attempt to = mount it on three of my Macs, I get the "This disk is unreadable..." = message. I've tried it with NTFS Mounter turned on and off, to the = same result.

I have been able many times in the past to mount = NTFS volumes. And FAT-32, etc.

Will installing Windows 7 on = a spare disk help? That's $200 for a shot in the dark.

Or, = can anybody think of something else I can try?
