Correct. I did that and had much better success the second time through. That was just prior to sending the email…when the “patch” was 2” away and tracking to the cheek area, and just before realizing the anchor point solution. And even though anchor adjustment is a good solution, one still wonders why the offset occurs. For example, I pulled Frame 1 of the clip from which to make the patch so when the tracking/analyzing began, the patch was exactly over the spot it was intended to track to. Then after tracking and applying keys to the target, the target jumps 2” to the right. What’s that all about? Is it that the tracking keys end up being created in some imaginary virtual space centered between the two tracking points? Puzzling, but solved. This is a common mistake where people thing a small region will work.
