There is also XYZ RGB, but I don't think it will do 360 degrees unless = you get the (over)expensive full version. My tool of choice is Photoscan. Extremely cheap for its power, but does = require a bit of knowledge on how to take the pictures. Email me off = list if you would like to discuss that, as I've used it extensively. Just to be clear, these are not "scanning" techniques, but rather 3d = reconstruction from pictures, which has the huge advantage over scanning = of using photographic data, meaning you can art direct your pictures vs = just using the data from a scanner. Lighting etc...can be made part of the process Alex On Feb 24, 2012, at 5:34 PM, Phil Spitler wrote: > There was a thread a while ago about free services that generate 3d = models of heads. >=20 > I have searched the archives but can't find the link or even the = thread. >=20 > Any ideas? >=20 > Thanks. >=20 > Phil >=20 > Phil Spitler | Associate Creative Director | Bonfire Labs | t : = 415.394.8200 | c : 415.571.3139 | Bonfirelabs.com >=20 >=20 > +---End of message---+ > To unsubscribe send any message to
