Yeah, of course :-) I checked to ensure we were using the latest version of OF and I always uncheck the 'GPU' option. We have Quadro FX 4500s and they don't crash 100% of the time with optical flares, but often enough. I will have a look at the monitoring tools suggested and see what they report. It may well be a combination of several factors - heat, and bugs in multiple areas of software ( plugins, OS, drivers)... combined with the fact that the machines are rendering 24/7, rather than a single issue.
