I am on Mac OS 10.7.2 Dropbox v1.2.52 Subject: Re: [AE] File sharing redux From: Greg Balint Message-Id: Date: Sat, 10 Mar 2012 17:46:10 -0500 I'd just like to chime in and mention that I've been using Dropbox for over a= year professionally with clients and couldn't be happier. The fact that my r= enders are already in place when I email someone because they sync immediate= ly is really nice. External links to files don't change, so if I send a cli= ent a list of deliverables and then have edits to those, I just tell them to= check those links again and the new files are there for them.=20 The whole "public folder" thing is not really even used in my workflow. I ri= ght click any file on my computer that is within the Dropbox folder, choose "= get shareable link" and I'm brought to a page that has the link for download= and copying to give to clients. It even handily makes web galleries out of f= olders with images, and makes an embedded flash video player from my movies (= codec independent) which allows clients to view the video right there in the= browser.=20 ////Greg Balint ///Art Director / Motion Graphics Designer delRAZOR.com/
