Checked use GPU on and off about 10x slow and quick, it updated in the window, but no crashes at all on that front. I put this in one of my posts a few back in the thread: The crashing I mentioned is related to having a Quadro 4000 installed. Everything worked fine with the old GE Force 8800. And these plugs work fine on my MBP, with it's stock graphics card. My crashing occurs in Optical Flares when clicking the "Options" link in the plug GUI, which opens the fancy interface. This is a known issue to the folks at VideoCoPilot. They're the ones who gave me the tip about unchecking the box. My crashes with FreeFormPro and Shapeshifter occur either right after applying the plug, or if not then, as soon as I try to change any parameter. Mettle knows about this issue with the Quadro as well. Although Chris mentioned to me that Lion would fix it, that's not been the case for me so far. Jim C. .
