I would use Mocha AE to track the phone and then you can apply the data via the MochaImport script on AEScripts.com. You have an option to stabilize simply that way. You could also take your position track data and apply it to the Anchor Point to stabilize as well.

Is it possible to stabilize an object in AE? I have a shot of someone holding a phone against green screen. The camera is locked down but the hand is moving all over and I would like it to be completely still. I have watched a bunch of videos at lynda.com (subscriber), creativecow, youtube, etc but I still must be doing something wrong as I cannot get the hand to remain still! The warp stabilizer comes close, however, I have to select smooth motion... if I select no motion, my footage disappears! I have manually plotted points using motion tracker and am having no luck there either... maybe I was being to sloppy. If you know how, please help!  Thanks.
