While the web is more interactive magazine than it is minority report, there is quite a bit of interesting stuff happening with responsive or device independent web design and parallax websites seem to be popular right now as well. Google either of those two terms and you'll find a lot of resources. Linked-in seems to have quite a few good groups you could look at.

Hi all,

I've been doing motion graphic work for around 16 years this year (about 13 in After Effects). Most of that has been in the broadcast realm with some video/flash work for websites. I've been watching the seemingly exponential growth in UI/UX design for the last few years. That kind of visual logic has always intrigued me. Watching how people interact with visual elements to communicate an idea. It occurred to me that this might be a branch in my career that I should take a look at.

I was wondering if any of you folks out there have made that jump from broadcast design to a more digital and development side of things? What resources are out there for folks like me to make a transition to that side of the looking glass? In other words if you don't mind me asking, what can I do as a professional to prepare to make that paradigm shift possible?
