If you bill by the hour then you can continue with the discussion of whether to use Maya, Max, C4D, Lightwave, Houdini, etc. If you bill by the job you get 3D Invigorator or ProAnimator. ProAnimator is a machine. It's made for doing quantity jobs with multiple versions and knocking them out efficiently. The way we programmed it has enabled animators to add a startling amount of movement to their designs without killing themselves in the process. Both 3D Invigorator and ProAnimator let you bring 3D models built by other 3D programs into the AE environment. Having AE as a live texture engine really increases your workflow. Check out our blog post at http://zaxwerks.com/blog/2012/03/15/ You'll see over 2500 objects all in motion along their own animations paths but created with only 18 animation tracks, and no keyframes. Best, Zax
