Nothing gets the guys in the office talking more than a 'is it real or is it cgi' discussion. And as someone who has worked on 'viral' videos, I'm always interested in looking at how other people try to fake realism, so I can learn to do it better.

But what's interesting is the more detailed analysis of camera shake they did to help them gauge the video's authenticity. By comparing the footage with real hang-glider footage, there are obvious differences:

I know several people on this list have advocated hand-held filming of a dot on a wall and motion-tracking it to come up with more realistic camera shake than you get with the wiggler. It's nice to know that people out there care about these things :-)
