Thanks for all you help guys.

Yes, it's crazy that my PC has nosedived, otherwise I would do just =
that. I'm in panic mode as I'm to deliver this project this evening (I =
still have work to do) so of course I'm not thinking straight. I've just =
never had this particular problem. Quite worried that if I don't get =
this PC working (quite possible) that I will never be able to get this =
file in shape again.

As far as I know, saving the document in TextEdit may convert it to a =
plain text document, where what you need it to do is save it as an aep.  =
