FreeForm Pro is supposed to work on Macs. =  There are some issues with certain graphics cards, in my = experience.

It seems my options are = thus:
upgrade to AE5.5 for $949 to get FreeForm
get = Zaxwerks 3DFlag for $199

FreeForm Pro is not = available for Mac it seems which is too bad as the mettle products look = super cool. FreeFormAE is no longer available from DigiEffects now it is = bundled with AE CS5
