| A lot of you know far more about systems and hardware than I do, so I wanted to fact-check the following two statements to try to separate some myth from reality about using Bootcamp to run Windows on Mac machines. I'd appreciate learning if these statements are true, false, and/or need asterisks and qualifications to properly explain: - The same hardware will give essentially the same performance on a Mac running Bootcamp, or a PC running the same version of Windows. - If you cannot use a certain piece of hardware (such as an NVIDIA Quadro 6000) in a Mac running MacOS, then you also cannot use that hardware in a Mac running Bootcamp. thanks in advance - Chris |
