Might be. Sometime they (purchasing) does not allow me to order outside of apple.com. I am hoping to order some RAM from newegg... again hoping. What nVidia card would you recommend that would work with the Mac? I do not think they will swing for the Quadro 4000. Right now I have an iMac... if I spec to high, I will be stuck with an iMac.

Your options are only ATI? Adobe is currently most happy with CUDA cores, which means nVidia. ATI won't get you a lot of benefit for AE. Is nVidia an option for you?

Or should I spend the money on RAM?

I would like the system to possible work with Resolve or Adobe's new SpeedGrade (which I do not know that much about).

Of course, I will be running two screens.
