D) I have never seen a mac render farm. not that it doesn't exist, but in terms of pure price : performance ratio and scalability PCs have the edge
I just think it's shocking people still think macs are the be-all and end-all of performance. it's not true. right now the only reason I own a mac is FCP 7 support. And even that is dwindling as places switch to premiere or avid following the FCP X debacle
