FWIW, I don't have as much bias against Windows as some people think. In =
fact, I'm very aware how well CS5 (and no doubt CS6) perform on Windows. =
But as Dann points out, I've been a one-man Mac-only shop for 20 years. =
I own nearly every plugin written for AE, plus a boatload of other =
software accumulated and upgraded over that time. While *some* vendors =
may let me switch licenses if I go Windows, for the most part I'll need =
to replace 20 years of software purchases. And while I could still keep =
my Macs, I'd end up with some kind of unholy alliance, not unlike dogs =
and cats living together. So unless someone drops a $100K job on me, I'm =
pretty much married to the Mac, unless Apple forces me to do otherwise. =
Which when you get down to it is really the issue many of us are facing.
