| I would be very hesitant to get involved in advising for a computer purchase. Suffice it to say I've been very happy with my current system, and it's configured primarily for video editing with matrox hardware. It would seem to me that now would be a good time to make a hardware upgrade. CUDA processing for Premiere has been nothing short of awesome. To see Ae heading in that direction is very exciting. If your current system is not CUDA-capable then YES....RUN to CUDA acceleration. Can't answer the $$ question. I've never priced any of the mac options.
