No, they don't tell us shit. I'm really beginning to hate them.  I encoded an hour show in Sony Vegas 11 to a M2t file. It ended up being just under 12GBs. We logged into their upload page and it didn't work. We called them and they said we were using the wrong browser and should be using Chrome, "because it is the best". We were using chrome, so she said, she had no idea why the page didn't work and had us upload through Aspera Connect.

I just checked with our web department and it looks like the file passed. I just need to find a different codec to use. Some of the Mpeg codecs in Vegas can use CUDA and the ones that do fly through a double pass.

How are you transferring the file to Hulu? Might you be running up against some file size issues? Your test files might be good due to a small file size but your full transfer might fail if file size exceeds some filesystem limitations somewhere along the line.

Maybe have them send the file back to you and compare to the original file to see if the problem lies in the transfer.

Does anyone have a magic settings to render HD files for Hulu?  They sent us their specs, which for HD is pretty much a standard XDCamHD 50Mbp file. They do not define a container. We are sending them a M2t file.

We keep doing 30 sec test files for them and they say they are good. We then render out an hour show and upload it to them, and they reject it.
