Even lower end integrated systems are fine, just add matched RAM and maybe a better graphics card as power allows. I've only had problems with custom built machines from people that didn't study up enough to match parts (including me).
The biggest annoyance for me is Windows itself, but it works and costs less. CUDA rendering is worth it.
