| Hey guys - I'm not sure when - I'll post when I know - You can check the adobe booth - I think they have pamphlets with all the times of speakers. I think it's once on Tues and twice on Wed.
Not sure if anyone will be filming it. I don't think they do, usually. It was a bit tricky with Marvel approvals doing this BEFORE the film release - so we're limited a bit on what we can show and say - but we can show our process for the shots in the trailer - and that's enough for me to fill hours - I'm one of those 'reason for everything' type designers, so it should be fun.
If you can't make NAB - I'll probably do a few other talks about it when I can show even more and maybe do a breakdown video like I did with my Rise of the Apes stuff.

Hey everyone - I wanted to let you all know I'll be presenting this Tues and Wed (april 17 and 18) at the big Adobe theater/booth at NAB. (it's free on the main exhibit's South Hall.)
I'll be going over my approach for designing and animating the new and upgraded Iron Man HUD for Avengers. You can see glimpses of it in the latest tv spot here http://youtu.be/-6sbQyTOTfE?hd=1
The awesome Stephen Lawes (Cantina Creative, The PLF) will be explaining the technical aspects - and how the stereo HUD rig was set up in After Effects and all that 32bit goodness.
So stop by and say hey - or just throw apples and oranges from the crowd!
I'll also definitely be at the always-great Media Motion Ball - hope to see y'all there!
