That would be nice, it would be tough to get around in though potentially if it has an insane amount of cascading options. Now if you could right click on a comp, tell it to target a certain layer/composition inside it regardless of how many precomps are in-between it and you and then open the controls for that layer/comp, now that would be something.

I wonder if there's a script that will let you "quick tweak" a precomp by expanding it fully and then quickly contracting that same precomp with a keystroke when done. That really is what it sounds like to me what you guys want.
