About two years ago I have talked with my friend who was Final Cut Studio Master Trainer. And we wonder how great would be If the Motion, Color and the FCP merged to one application. Look what happened :(

Smoke could be a good idea but the system requirements would be the the tight part of It...

p.s: My friend is now a Smoke Instructor :)
