It was just a fun little thing I made and I won the contest. I ow= n the rights to everything in the video except for the music select.=20 I was just approached by a German production company creating a commercial f= or VODAFONE. They are requesting to license the rights to use the 5 seconds= of footage for 1 year for all media in Germany. They've offered 1000=E2=82= =AC for the rights.=20 I received this message through Vimeo's message system, not directly.=20 I was wondering if anyone on the list has ever had the experience of doing t= his and if there's anything I should be cautious about.=20 I'm flattered that this video I've created is being considered for use like t= his. Especially since it was just a little fun project to make on a whim. A= nd $1,300 USD out of nowhere, for something I never expected to get paid for= , definitely sounds great to me.=20 Let me know your thoughts.=20 Thanks! ////Greg Balint ///Art Director / Motion Graphics Designer delRAZOR.com/ On Apr 17, 2012, at 1:48 PM, Chris Meyer wrote: > The specific advantage of more VRAM is you can fit larger layers into memo= ry instead of having them swapped out for processing. So I'd go for the 3 GB flavor. >=20 > - Chris >=20 >=20 >=20 > On Apr 16, 2012, at 9:17 AM, Robert Houghton wrote: >=20 >> My primary question should have included that since the price of the Quad= ro 4000 is around $750 and a Nvidia GTX 580 runs between $400 and $600 depen= ding on whether or not you want the 1.5 GB and 3 GB flavor.
