in the meantime, AE does save the quicktime every 10 minutes as you render so you can grab that file or wait till next save and grab before you stop the render

I'd love if it AE would button up the quicktime file if you stop a render early. There have been plenty of times when I need to kill a render but would like to keep what I rendered thus far.

While I'm newcomer to AE I've spent 20 years working in Photoshop and would love to have the layer groups option. As implemented in Photoshop it's a very easy way to organize layers and keep track of what's what within your comp.

And even more powerful would be the ability to give these layer groups their own mask and blending modes. Now THAT would be cool!

Yes, it would be cool to have a twirly that revealed a precomp's layers =

But I would be really really happy to get layer folders. I sometimes =

layers and setting colors=85
