You can always opt for the "traditional" license mode, in which case whateve=
r version you last owned would continue to function. Of course discounted up=
grades would only apply to to the next version, but it too wouldn't expire. B=
ut incremental updates and bug fixes only come with with the cloud version, s=
o the actual decision is not all so easy.

In the end I suppose it's pay in full now, or pay over time but in any case y=
ou have to pay.
